Our general expectation is that everyone who joins our group will act appropriately and help create positive experiences for others. This is very important to us. Almost all of this is common sense, but most of the rules exist because of behavior we have encountered over the years. The rules in our code of conduct help use to fairly and consistently handle issues when they occur, but we will always prioritize the safety and wellbeing of others.
As a group member the rules list below are really all you need to know to have a great experience in our group. While we are making it available to be transparent, we suggest your skip it, be kind and enjoy the group! Let us stress over the details so you dont have to.

All of our events should be considered to be a group of friends doing something together. It is your responsibility to make sure that you are prepared.
These rules will ensure the safety of our group members and help keep things fair.
The purpose of this section is to make a group a safer place. Keep in mind that how one conducts themselves and handles items might be the factors that determine whether or not your are in compliance with these rules.
We would prefer not to get involved with relationships between group members, however there are some rules we will enforce.

While creating oppertunities to meet and communicate with others is a big part of why our group exists, there are right and wrong ways to do this.
The ability to trust those around you is very important as it can impact the safety of the group.
Occasionally someone is going to do something bad that we haven't thought of or never thought necessary to prohibit in writing.
When these things happen, it's up to our group organizers discretion on how to handle the behavior. In such cases, any action taken will be agreed upon by multiple organizers in order to ensure their actions are fair and consistent with our group ethos.
It is our intent to allow dogs on our events as much as possible.
